About This Activity
Description
In Stage 3, students learn how to swim to safety from a longer distance and also introduces rhythmic breathing and integrated arm and leg action. Students must be able to swim without a flotation device with their faces in the water.Students in Stage 4 develop stroke technique in front crawl and backstroke and learn the breaststroke and butterfly kicks. Water safety is reinforced through treading water and elementary backstroke.
