About This Activity
Students will use the short skit “North Pole Dreamers” in this musical theatre holiday extravaganza! In this original short play with music, performers will follow the story of an elf who dreams of becoming a dancer instead of working in Santa's Workshop. Young performers will cultivate skills of ensemble singing, public speaking, and taking their skills from classroom to performance. No experience is necessary for this introductory level class. Come dressed to move in either sneakers or jazz shoes and bring a water bottle and pencil to every class. Students will perform “North Pole Dreamers” at the end of their 8 weeks, where family and friends will be invited to the show!
