About This Activity
Embark on a magical journey where students will immerse themselves in the enchanting theme of fractured fairy tales! Geared towards aspiring performers, this educational experience offers a dynamic curriculum covering fundamental acting techniques, basic character development, basic script analysis, and confidence-building improv. The camp fosters a fun and engaging environment, allowing kids to collaborate with their peers on a special fractured fairy tale performance. Beyond the spotlight, students will gain insights into the behind-the-scenes of theater, learning about different roles in production. Culminating in a captivating ‘showcase’ for parents, campers will present a short 20 or 30 minute acting piece on the last day of camp, inspired by various fairy tales. With an emphasis on creativity, teamwork, and confidence, our camp aims to provide young performers with a well-rounded introduction to the magical world of acting.
