About This Activity
Description
The City of Milpitas is partnering with the Milpitas Unified School District to provide transportation services for the After the Bell (ATB) 2024-25 school year. Families must join the transportation interest list to be considered for transportation services. Joining the interest list does not guarantee a spot for transportation services.To join the interest list, select the "+ Waiting List" button and follow the prompts. Please disregard the activity is full notification.
Depending on the number of students enrolled in the interest list, students may be transported to a different City of Milpitas Recreation Facility. Families will be updated on Friday, July 12.
Students enrolled in transportation services will be transported daily from their respective schools to the Sal Cracolice Recreation Facility, including minimum days. The bus will only pick up students from the schools listed below and will only drop off students at the Sal Cracolice Recreation Facility.
- Mabel Mattos Elementary School
- Anthony Spangler Elementary School
- Pearl Zanker Elementary School
Families must join the interest list no later than Friday, July 5, 2024. After that day, the City of Milpitas will notify families of the cost of transportation services by Friday, July 12. We anticipate the cost for transportation to be about $1,000 for the entire school year.
City staff will begin enrolling families off the interest list into transportation services starting Monday, July 15 based on their position on the interest list and the number of spots available. The transportation cost is due upon City staff contacting you and must be paid in full.
If your child (Kindergarten through 6th Grade) does not need transportation services but is enrolled in ATB Sal Cracolice, you do not need to enroll in the transportation interest list. You are responsible for your child's transportation from school to the program site.
