About This Activity
Description
The City of Milpitas Recreation and Community Services Department partners with the Milpitas Unified School District to provide transportation for students in grades 1st through 6th, from their home school to the After the Bell (ATB) satellite site at the Sal Cracolice Recreational Facility. Busing resources are limited, so to gauge the community need and to determine bus routes for the 2025-26 school year, families enrolled or planning to enroll in ATB Sal Cracolice that need transportation services are required to sign up for the Transportation Services Interest List by Tuesday, May 27.
Joining the interest list does not guarantee a seat on the bus or the availability of service from your school site; however, it helps us identify and prioritize bus routes that serve the greatest number of students. We will email all families on the Transportation Interest List on Monday, June 9 with the school sites receiving transportation services and the final cost of transportation services for school year 2025-26.
The estimated cost of transportation is $1,240.00 per student. Cost is determined by the number of students enrolled in this service and the number of buses needed. Transportation services provide bus pick up for all 180 days of school, including minimum days. Enrollment fees are non-refundable and are due upfront and before the school year begins.
Families can register for transportation services from Wednesday, June 11 to Friday, June 13 through our registration software, ActiveNet*, or in-person at the Milpitas Community Center or Milpitas Sports Center. By enrolling, you are committing to transportation services for the entire 2025–26 school year and are responsible for all associated fees.

- Families will be notified by email of the total cost of transportation by Monday, June 16.
- The remaining balance will be automatically charged to the credit card on file on Wednesday, June 18.
