About This Activity
In this class, campers use Micro:bit and other tools to explore robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through hands-on activities. The curriculum progresses from basic robotics to AI-enhanced robots, emphasizing creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Students learn beginner coding, data collection, model training, and how AI communicates with robots. Using the BBC Micro:bit, campers build projects such as Tumblebit, Robot Arm, Robot Dog, and the Maqueen car to play soccer, bowling, and solve mazes. Basic principles of electricity and magnetism are also introduced.
