About This Activity
Description
Minecraft EDU: Traveling to the Future - AM: Join us in an apocalyptic future, where the earth has been ravaged by a series of natural disasters. Each day, campers will use the Engineering Design Process to tackle exciting challenges, such as building a city on a series of islands, escaping from a bunker on Mt. Everest, and even constructing a rocket to land on the moon! By applying engineering principles, campers will solve various problems to make their virtual world in Minecraft a safe place for humanity once again. Based on National Standards, our camps offer dynamic, hands-on experiences every week! A $50 lab fee is payable to the instructor on the first day of class.Drone and Aviation Exploration! - PM: Is it a bird? Is it a plane? It’s a DRONE! Jump into the exciting world of drones with this hands-on aerial camp! Campers will safely fly mini drones in first-person view (FPV) and explore real-world drone applications. They’ll brainstorm how drones can be used today and in the future, while also learning about Aerospace Engineering concepts. Join us for a week of confidence-building, where campers develop the skills and mindset to become visionary innovators! A $60 lab fee is payable to the instructor on the first day.
Please Note:- A non-refundable material fee of $50 for AM half day campers, $60 for PM half day campers, and $110 for full day campers is due to the instructor at the first class meeting. - Please bring a bottle of water, snack, and lunch for full day campers.
