About This Activity
Description
CompuChild combines two programs essential to boost your child's 21st-century STEM skills.Students will learn foundational machine-building skills, explore robotics and machine design, and use Scratch coding to make their creations smarter. They will learn to use distance and color sensors for obstacle detection and control robot behavior and movement through coding. Students will enhance creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking by integrating sensors and programming, transforming their ideas into interactive robots.
With the proliferation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) technology, it is essential to introduce children to how these techniques work at the fundamental level and train them to use these tools to enhance efficiency. Students will experiment with a variety of AI and ML tools, from language models to art, sound, and animation.
