The goal of this class is to introduce the basic concepts of music through sensory awareness and active participation in movement, singing, and play - with particular attention paid to beat, rhythm, and listening skills - as well as helping caregivers learn ways to interact with their children through music.
A typical class has:
- a welcome song, lullabies, and a closing song
- gentle bouncing games
- finger plays
- movement and dance
- instrument activities
- song games
A caregiver accompanies their child for each class.
