Description
Give your child a wonderful start to their musical journey with MacPhail’s Beginning Violin class, specially designed for young learners ages 6 to 9. In this engaging and supportive group setting, students will be introduced to the fundamentals of music and violin playing in a fun and age-appropriate way.Through a combination of games, movement, and hands-on learning, students will explore basic music rudiments such as rhythm, pitch, and note reading, while also developing proper violin technique and healthy tone production. Children will learn how to care for their instrument, hold the violin and bow correctly, and play simple songs with confidence.
This class is a rewarding first step toward building a lifelong love of music. No prior experience is necessary—just curiosity and enthusiasm!
Instruments are required; rental options are available at local violin and string shops.
