About This Activity
Description
Join the finest young jazz musicians for an intense summer jazz camp experience for students of all skill levels. Through auditions, students will be placed in a jazz combo that matches their ability level. Students will learn standard and modern jazz repertoire, and will hone their improvisational skills in small combos led by prominent Twin Cities jazz musicians and educators. Additionally, all students will learn jazz theory and jazz history through daily listening and theory sessions. Family and friends are invited to attend a final concert at a local jazz venue, location TBD.Skills
