The 2026 Summer Program focuses on advancing your dancer's technical and artistic abilities rapidly within a three-week period. As MDT's highest level, Level 3 has a daily 2-hour ballet technique class, where dancers will be invited to put on their pointe shoes for center combinations. Technique is followed by pointe, variations or ballet repertoire, as well as contemporary, choreography, strength and conditioning, and/or character class. It is important to note that Level 3 will always have two breaks during the day, a shorter snack break as well as a longer lunch break. Here is an example of a typical Level 3 day: LEVEL 3 (Ages 14-18) Time Ballet technique 9:30-11:30 am Break 11:30-11:45 am Variations or repertoire 11:45-12:45 pm Lunch 12:45-1:45 pm Strength and conditioning. 1:45-2:30 pm Contemporary 2:30-4 pm The program is Monday–Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and one or three week options are available. A 10% discount is automatically implemented if your child participates in all three weeks. Additionally, an additional 5% sibling discount will be automatically implemented to your cart if you register two children. Please reach out to school@mndance.org if the discounts are not automatically implemented. Please note, Week 3 is less expensive than Week 1 and 2 due to it being a four-day week. The MDT Staff decided to not hold classes on Friday, July 3 in observance of the 4th of July. Please register your dancer based on their age. A formal placement class will take place on the first day of the 2026 Summer Program, and dancers will be moved accordingly if adjustments to levels are necessary.
