Join a naturalist on a snowshoe hike under the full moon along the Mississippi River, through the woods and across the prairie. Enjoy the stillness of a winter evening and practice spotting signs of wildlife with only the light of the moon. Then warm up next to a winter campfire. Snowshoes provided.
Registration is REQUIRED for all participants, pre-registration is strongly encouraged, there are a limited number of spots available.
- Please wear winter boots for use with our provided snowshoes
- This program takes place outside. Please dress for the weather
- Interested youth ages 8+ welcome with a registered adult
Program is based out of the Kroening Interpretive Center at 4900 Mississippi Court Minneapolis, MN 55430
