Description
Let get hooked on fishing! Meet at Colonel Francis Beatty Park (about 15 mins from Stevens Creek) and practice your fishing skills and meet some native fishes up close, such as largemouth bass, channel catfish, and red-breasted sunfish. Option to pack a picnic, stay for lunch, and explore the trails on your own. No experience needed; all equipment and instruction provided.
Pre-registration required per child. Not a drop-off program - adult participation required; recommended no more than 2 children per adult for fishing.
This class takes place entirely outside so dress for the weather and bring a water bottle/snacks as desired. Prior to the program, the instructor will email additional information.
