Arcade Builders is an after-hours STEM program for Grades 2–6 where students become game engineers and designers. Working in teams, they design and build interactive arcade-style games using cardboard, motors, circuits, sensors, robotics, and beginner-friendly coding. Students will: - Design arcade games with scoring, movement, and challenges - Build mechanical parts using motors and simple machines - Use sensors to trigger lights, sounds, or motion - Program robots and controllers to interact with their games - Test, debug, and improve designs using the engineering design process This program blends creativity, engineering, and coding while encouraging multiple solutions and student choice.
