About This Activity
KidzArt Pet Purrr-fection (entering grades 1-5) Spark your imagination this Summer at ART camp with KidzArt! This week is all about making art to remind us why we love all our furry, scaly, slimy, fuzzy, and slippery pets. Our adorable pets will come to life in our drawings of cats, dogs, bunnies, fish, lizards and more! Have fun making an impressive painting of parakeets on canvas, clay sculptures of pets in cozy home habitats and more. Students will have the opportunity to work with a variety of mediums including watercolor, oil pastel, illustration markers and much more. Kids will develop a positive “stick with it” attitude and problem-solving skills as they experience our unique and fun teaching approach. This camp offers a diverse arts curriculum geared to stretch minds, exercise imaginations, and introduce new idea-generating techniques with curriculum the meets National Standards for Art Education. Discovery and self-expression are fundamental to KidzArt programs where creative spirit is nurtured while building friendships and having fun!
