About This Activity
Come join Mrs. Griggs and Mrs. Fulmer at Construction Camp! Your child will come home at the end of the week with two completed wooden projects geared toward his or her age level. Your child will learn how to plan, measure, construct, sand, stain and seal their projects. Your child will never touch the saw, but they will learn how to use a drill, and older campers will use a power sander as well. Your child’s safety is our top priority. Please pack a lunch and a snack, as well as sunscreen and water for your camper. Camp will take place in the 4th grade courtyard by the field house parking lot. We will reach out to you and ask which projects your camper would like to build. K-2nd Projects - Birdhouse, Children’s Table/Desk with Bench, or Dollhouse/Bookshelf
