About This Activity
This program is a window into the past. We will learn how early humans discovered and created stone tools using a variety of techniques. This 2-day class focuses on techniques in stone tool production including: bipolar percussion, block on block percussion, percussion flaking, pressure flaking, and finish work. Through the seven stages of reduction we will rediscover what our ancestors perfected.
