About This Activity
Description
Prepare for the physical demands and responsibilities of pointe work by doing specific strengthening exercises for your legs, ankles, and feet. Dancers will also learn pointe shoe anatomy and terminology. Instructor and supervisor approval needed to register for this course. Dancer should be simultaneously enrolled in Intermediate Ballet, Advanced Ballet, or Advanced Teen Ballet. (RV)
Dancers must take pre-pointe and pass the pointe test before going en-pointe.
This is a non-recital class. No class: March 25-31, May 22 or May 27.
