Tykes classes help children develop body awareness, balance, coordination, and basic tumbling skills through playful, age-appropriate activities. Bright colors and engaging stations create an exciting environment where young gymnasts learn through movement and exploration. Each age group builds on the last, introducing new challenges and skills to support steady growth and confidence. Along the way, children also practice important social skills such as sharing, taking turns, listening, and following directions. For new Tumbling Tykes 2s and 3s, a caregiver may be present in the gym to provide reassurance and assist their child in staying with the class if necessary. Caregivers will be encouraged to allow their child to be as independent as possible. By the end of the session, participants should be able to complete the class on their own. (JM)
