Adult CPR/AED First Aid Course
June 26-8:30 pmNorth Creek Board RoomThis course provides participants with the knowledge and skills needed to recognize and respond appropriately to cardiac, breathing and first aid emergencies. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to give immediate care to an injured or ill person and to decide whether advanced medical care is needed.
The intended audience for this course includes lay responders in the workplace and community.
The online component (approximately 3 to 4 hours) is required to be completed by the first day of class. The link to access the online component will be emailed to participants after registration.
To complete the course requirements and receive a completion certificate, participants must be able to complete the online session, attend the in-person class, participate in all course activities, demonstrate competency in all required skills, and successfully complete assessment scenarios.
Successful participants will receive an American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED certification, which is valid for 2 years.
