About This Activity
Checkpoint Bible Camp was founded in 2007, with a vision to connect churches together through seasonal camping. Checkpoint is located in the beautiful woods of a scout camp near Monitcello, Indiana. The camp has nice cabins, a well-equipped mess hall, pool, and a lot of open areas to play games. We are dedicated to the practical teaching of God’s Word. Whether on a hike, in a chapel or around a campfire, we want every camper to deepen their walk with God. Checkpoint Bible Camp checks and challenges campers' growth in their faith and ministry skills. The goal is twofold and has not changed: 1) we hope to equip kids to serve in their local church and 2) to return with the intent of ultimately filling leadership roles at Camp Checkpoint. The gospel of Jesus Christ is everyone’s focus at camp, then we begin to find places where kids can plug in at church and have a sense of ownership through ministry training. We’re excited to share the gospel and equip your kids for a life of serving the Lord.
