About This Activity
Come join Mrs. Dacia, one of our art teachers, as she shares her artistic background in a vibrant after school art club designed exclusively for the imaginative minds of Woodlawn 1st through 3rd graders! Mrs. Dacia has a BFA majoring is Interdisciplinary Arts having studied at The Art Institute of Chicago, Otis College of Art & Design and Montserrat College of Art. Our young artists can explore their creativity, develop their artistic skills, and have a blast while doing so. From developing a working sketchbook, to creating unique masterpieces using various mediums, our after-school art club not only provides a fun-filled experience but also promotes essential skills such as hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills development, self-expression, and problem-solving. Watch them unleash their creativity in an inspiring atmosphere filled with colors, laughter, and endless possibilities. Give them the opportunity to embark on an artistic journey that will leave lasting memories and ignite a lifelong passion for the world of art.
