About This Activity
Join Jennifer Pendergast and Sarah Jackson, Woodlawn’s First Grade teachers, for a magical, week-long journey where the great outdoors becomes our art studio and the sky is our only limit! Mrs. Pendergast brings over 25 years of Early Childhood Education experience to the camp and her passion for nature will offer campers a fresh, hands-on perspective on the natural world. Ms. Jackson is entering her 5th year teaching and brings an artistic flair and dynamic teaching style, she is an experienced painter and is trained in multiple artistic mediums. Forest Friends Creative is a sensory-rich experience designed specifically for campers to explore the natural world through the lens of art and imagination. Exploration is creation, we are ready for BIG energy, BIG imaginations and BIG ideas! Campers should bring a water bottle, & a nut-free snack each day. Campers need to be fully potty trained.
