Join us for a one-week summer camp in June, where campers will “travel” the world through fun, hands-on activities! Led by Ms. Buttrick, students will explore five different countries and learn simple words and phrases from the languages spoken in each one. Campers will enjoy music, crafts, and games while discovering exciting traditions and famous landmarks. This friendly and engaging camp encourages curiosity, creativity, and cultural appreciation - all while having fun and making new friends! Ms. Buttrick serves as Woodlawn’s Academic Learning Catalyst. She is an experienced educator with over two decades of teaching experience across multiple states. She holds a Master of Science in Education from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Merrimack College. Her specialized expertise includes reading intervention, literacy coaching, gifted and talented education, differentiation and data-driven instruction. A fun fact about Ms. Buttrick is that she is fluent in Portuguese. Campers should bring a water bottle, & a nut-free snack each day.
