About This Activity
Instructor: Sandy Zuniga Come for a week of Fun Activities while learning and practicing your Spanish ability speaking, listening, reading, and singing popular songs in Spanish!! We’ll use a combination of instructional videos, interactive games and activities, and hands-on practice sessions to teach the following skills and topics: 1. Basic Vocabulary and Phrases: We’ll begin with an introduction to basic Spanish vocabulary and phrases that are useful for everyday communication, such as greetings, introductions, and common expressions. 2. Numbers and Counting: students will learn how to count in Spanish, and how to use numbers in context, such as when telling time, counting money, and talking about age. 3. Colors, Shapes, and Sizes: students will be introduced to basic Spanish vocabulary related to colors, shapes, and sizes, and we’ll provide plenty of hands-on activities and games to help them practice and reinforce their learning. 4. Food and Drink: students will learn the names of common foods and drinks in Spanish, and they’ll be introduced to basic Spanish vocabulary related to ordering food and drinks in a restaurant or cafe. 5. Cultural Topics: students will learn about basic Spanish culture and traditions, such as holidays, and celebrations. Students will be encouraged to explore and appreciate the rich diversity of Spanish-speaking countries and cultures. To make the learning experience fun and engaging for students, we’ll provide plenty of opportunities for hands-on practice and feedback. We’ll play games, songs, and many interactive activities to practice speaking and listening skills as much as possible.
