Teens aged 15 to 17 are invited to embark on an enriching journey at St. Joseph’s Youth Camp through the Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program. This program offers a blend of leadership development and adventure, ideal for those looking to grow and make lasting memories. Participants begin with an intensive week-long CIT Week training, gaining essential certifications in First Aid, CPR, and AED, along with comprehensive child safety training. CIT Week emphasizes personal development through dynamic sessions focusing on communication, leadership, positivity, and inclusion. These activities are designed to empower participants with the skills needed to become effective leaders, both at camp and in their broader lives. Upon completing CIT Week, participants may be invited to return to serve as counselors for the following camper weeks and earn up to 96 hours of community service for each week served. This extended role includes involvement in various exciting activities, such as Flagstaff Extreme, Kayaking, Horseback Riding, Archery, and many other fun and engaging experiences! Our CIT Week is a unique opportunity for teens to develop essential skills, enjoy adventure, and become part of a supportive camp community. Interested individuals are encouraged to register for CIT Week and take part in a summer filled with growth, leadership, and fun.
