Our story time will support an appreciation for nature and embrace the beauty of our diverse world. Through engaging stories and interactive activities, we'll discover how nature connects us all and learn about the importance of unity and respect for one another. Come explore many wonders and celebrate the joy of storytelling with us in this special nature-inspired gathering for all ages!
May's Theme: Buzz and BloomJoin us for an engaging story time celebrating the essential role of pollinators like bees, butterflies, and birds in our ecosystem! We’ll read a book featuring pollinators, then head out on an exciting nature walk to search for them in the park. Families will observe bees, butterflies, and blooming native flowers up close, deepening their connection to the natural world. This hands-on experience encourages curiosity, conservation, and a love for nature!
Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult.
We will meet at the White Oak Shelter, which is the fifth right turn in the park (sign for White Oak Shelter at the turn). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are recommended, and adults must actively participate with their child(ren).
