Our story time will support an appreciation for nature and embrace the beauty of our diverse world. Through engaging stories and interactive activities, we'll discover how nature connects us all and learn about the importance of unity and respect for one another. Come explore many wonders and celebrate the joy of storytelling with us in this special nature-inspired gathering for all ages!
April's Theme: Growing Together! This story time will include a vibrant read-aloud featuring diverse characters and stories about gardening, followed by a hands-on planting activity. Children will explore the wonders of nature, learn about different plants, and get their hands dirty as they plant seeds to take home. Perfect for little gardeners and nature lovers of all backgrounds, this interactive experience fosters curiosity, community, and a love for growing things!
Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult.
We will meet at the White Oak Shelter, which is the fifth right turn in the park (sign for White Oak Shelter at the turn). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are recommended, and adults must actively participate with their child(ren).
