Join us for a captivating nature storytime celebrating diversity in the great outdoors! Our storytime features a book that highlights the beauty of nature and the richness of different cultures and backgrounds. Our story time will support an appreciation for nature and embrace the beauty of our diverse world. Through engaging stories and interactive activities, we'll discover how nature connects us all and learn about the importance of unity and respect for one another. Come explore many wonders and celebrate the joy of storytelling with us in this special nature-inspired gathering for all ages!June's Theme: Juneteenth Joy! June’s story time will center the story and experiences of Juneteenth. We will celebrate the history and significance of this historic day! Join us for a joyful and educational experience filled with stories that will focus on how nature and joy are displayed in the celebration of Juneteenth! This will include honoring the Black connection to nature and liberation. After reading, we will extend our celebration by exploring what brings us joy in our surroundings.
Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult.
We will meet at the White Oak Shelter, which is the fifth right turn in the park (sign for White Oak Shelter at the turn). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are recommended, and adults must actively participate with their child(ren).
