Birds live in nearly every habitat on Earth, from forests and wetlands to open fields and backyards. In this program, students will explore how birds are specially adapted for survival. We will investigate beak shapes, feet, feathers, and behaviors, and connect these adaptations to feeding, movement, and habitat. Through hands-on activities and outdoor observation, students will learn how form helps birds thrive in different environments.
Parents/guardians are welcome to stay for the program or drop-off.
Parents may attend or drop-off. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required.
