About This Activity
Description
Come spend a day with North Carolina's only terrestrial turtle species; the Eastern Box Turtle! We'll learn about a day in the life of these reptiles in the story Box Turtle at Long Pond, by William T. George before exploring some specimens from Lake Crabtree. We'll finish our adventure with a turtle craft to bring home.Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult. Storytime for Tots is a monthly series, and includes a story followed by nature exploration and a craft or activity.
