About This Activity
Description
Even in the cold of winter there are year-round park animals for us to enjoy. The book Mr. Blue by Priscilla Whitaker focuses on one of these animals, a great blue heron. After the story, we'll look for herons by the lake, and create a craft to bring home!Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult. Participants will enjoy a story, a short nature walk or movement activity, and a hands-on craft. Modifications are available upon request during the registration process.
