About This Activity
Description
Farmers must carefully nurture their gardens, but how do wild plants grow? Join us this month as we read Planting the Wild Garden by Kathryn Galbraith to discover how Mother Nature gardens. We'll study various types of seeds from native plants and make a garden craft to take home.Children must be registered and accompanied by an adult. Storytime for Tots is a monthly series, and includes a story followed by nature exploration and a craft or activity.
We will meet at the Beech Shelter, which is the third right turn in the park (sign for Beech Shelter at the turn). Sturdy, closed-toe shoes are required, and adults must actively participate with their child(ren).
