Description
Heart and Sole creates a positive, structured space for middle school girls to learn about themselves, explore new ideas, cultivate empathy, strengthen connections and develop life skills that will help them as they move through adolescence and beyond. At the end of the 10 weeks girls will be physically and emotionally prepared to complete a 5k run. Learn more at www.gotrdetroit.org
Please bring athletic shoes and a water bottle.
The culminating 5K is scheduled for Sunday, May 17th at Lake St. Clair Metropark.
Attendance Policy: Please be aware that the expectation is that the participant(s) will be able to attend all sessions. However, we do know understand that sometimes it is not possible. The attendance policy is that no more than four (4) practices can be missed during the season.
WAITLIST PARTICIPANTS ONLY: Please note waitlisted participants are not charged until a spot becomes available on the team. So, please ensure that you have a valid credit on file. This will ensure that your child can be moved quickly to the team. You will receive an email notification that your child has been moved and your credit card has been charged.
