About This Activity
This is the continuation of the German 3 course from the Fall Semester. German language competency required enrolling in German 3 – Spring Semester: Understanding: The student should be able to follow a conversation if simple standard language is used, as long as it relates to topics like school and leisure time. His/her language skill in all four skills should be at least at a high A2 level. Speaking: The students should be making a significant progress in their speaking ability, since they are progressing from level A2 to a B level of language proficiency. Reading: The student should be able to read texts in the workbook and in newspaper articles. He/she should be able to use the dictionary searching for words to help him/her in understanding, speaking, reading and writing. Writing: The student should be able to write about exercises, report about they hope and wishes. The students should be able to write an essay, which relates to topics covered in the workbook. Grammar: The student should be able to apply the following aspects of German grammar while writing and talking: past tense, declination of adjectives, causal clauses, concessive clauses, comparative and superlative, modal verbs.
