About This Activity
This is an entrance-level German as a foreign language course for children in Grades 1-3, and there are no German language pre-requirements. However, most of the students will have already completed our Kindergarten course, and will have some minimal German knowledge. German language competency required to enroll in DaF Level 1 – Fall Semester: Understanding: No requirements expected. Speaking: No requirements expected. Reading: The student should be familiar with the phonetics and be able to read the first words in his/her native language. The alphabetizing process should have been started in his/her native language. Writing: The student should be familiar with the phonetics and be able to write the first words in his/her native language. The alphabetizing process should have been started. Grammar: No requirements expected.
