About This Activity
German language competency required enrolling in DaZ Level 4 – Fall Semester: Understanding: The student should be able to understand topic-related phrases and content. Speaking: The student should be able to communicate about simple topics and activities. The student should be able to confidently handle short social exchanges. He/she should be able to produce and present small texts and presentations. Reading: The student should be able to read short texts. The student should be able to find context-relevant information. He/she should be able to read and understand personal information and letters. Writing: The student should be able to write short notes and messages using correct sentence structure. He/she should be able to express thoughts and ideas in short texts (Approximately 5-8 sentences). Grammar: The student should be able to use some conjugation and declination. The student should be familiar with an increasing vocabulary relating to home, school, and activities, and should understand that articles need to be correctly assigned to nouns.
