About This Activity
Each week, students will learn an audition dance from a different musical and focus on a helpful skill such as learning steps quickly, being super expressive while dancing, or how to fake it til you make it! Students will also learn some basic musical theatre dance skills that are likely to show up in audition combinations and learn what choreographers are looking for at auditions. On the final day of class, we’ll have a mock audition with some local choreographers who will provide feedback on each individual performance (Ages 8-12) Please note there is no performance for family and friends. There is no class on 11/11 and 11/25 ***PYT's CLASS CANCELLATION/TRANSFER POLICY: - All cancellation or transfer requests must be made in writing to caitlyn@pytnet.org - Up to one week prior to the class start date: a full refund can be provided for cancellations minus a $50 fee. Transfer requests are subject to availability and will be charged a $25 transfer fee - Transfer requests during the first week of classes are subject to a $50 transfer fee - No transfers are allowed after the first week of classes
