About This Activity
Whether you're new to performing or have auditioned numerous times, this class will help you put together an audition that will let you shine! We'll help you pick a monologue and song that makes the most of the limited time at an audition. Actors will work to develop clear characterization in both their monologue and song using physicality, facial expressions, and vocal inflection. On the final day of class, students will present their prepared material in a mock audition for a panel of local directors and vocal directors who will provide specific feedback (Ages 8-12) Please note that there is no performance for family and friends for this class. No class on 111/26 ***PYT's CLASS CANCELLATION/TRANSFER POLICY: - All cancellation or transfer requests must be made in writing to caitlyn@pytnet.org - Up to one week prior to the class start date: a full refund can be provided for cancellations minus a $50 fee. Transfer requests are subject to availability and will be charged a $25 transfer fee - Transfer requests during the first week of classes are subject to a $50 transfer fee - No transfers are allowed after the first week of classes
