About This Activity
Register for a 11AM audition time for PYT's production of "A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD." All who audition will be cast provided they are willing to accept any role and do not have excessive conflicts (more than 6 dates). Actors should plan to arrive 15-30 minutes prior to their audition time for check in. Those who arrive after the start of their audition group may not be allowed to enter late. They can join a later group to audition. Registration includes the participation fee and general costume expense (except for shoes, basic stage makeup and undergarments such as leotards, tights, undershirts, and bike shorts). Families must commit to a minimum of 25 hours of production support. Training will be provided. Auditions are open to actors age 5-15. Actors must be 8 years old by May 4 to participate in the main cast. Ages 5-7 may join our Young Performers Ensemble without an audition. Callbacks will be scheduled 6-9pm on May 4 and May 6. Rehearsals will be held weekday evenings (primarily Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays) 6-8:30pm & Saturdays 10am-1pm the end of June with rehearsals on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well beginning in July. Actors will only be called as needed, generally 2-4 times per week. Technical rehearsals are July 19-22 from 4-10pm at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. No absences are allowed for tech rehearsals or performances. Performances Dates & Times: Thurs, July 23 @ 6:30 PM Fri, July 24 @ 6:30 PM Sat, July 25 @ 1 PM & 6:30 PM Sun, July 26 @ 11 AM & 3 PM We expect to have two full casts for this production that will each perform 3 times.
