Sign up for the LOTTERY for a spot in our Young Performers Ensemble for PYT's production of "A YEAR WITH FROG AND TOAD." All who register will be eligible for a lottery spot provided they submit our conflict calendar form sent in the lottery confirmation by Monday, May 4, can attend our first YP rehearsal on May 16, and do not have excessive conflicts (more than 2). The participation fee for actors selected from the lottery to participate in the cast is $400. No audition is required for Young Performers. The Young Performers Ensemble rehearsals Saturdays 10-11am starting May 16, and will also be called for evening rehearsals with the entire cast July 13-17, and with their cast on Saturday, July 18th (10-11:30AM or 11:30AM-1PM). The Young Performers Ensemble is for children age 5-7. Actors must be 5 years old by May 4 to participate. Young Performers will be in at least three songs in the show. YOUNG PERFORMERS SPOTS ARE LIMITED; we are only able to cast a maximum of 10 actors in the ensemble. Young Performer families must commit a minimum of 10 hours of backstage supervision for Young Performers during technical rehearsals and performances. Training will be provided. Technical rehearsals are July 19-22 from 4-10pm at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts. No absences are allowed for tech rehearsals or performances. Performances Dates & Times: Thurs, July 23 @ 6:30 PM Fri, July 24 @ 6:30 PM Sat, July 25 @ 1 PM & 6:30 PM Sun, July 26 @ 11 AM & 3 PM We expect to have two full casts for this production that will each perform 3 times.
