About This Activity
Riders will learn and practice enduro style riding to become faster, smoother descender but also develop the fitness and strength to climb and cover miles of trail. Skills taught will emphasize cornering technique, riding over and down obstacles, jumping, drops, speed, and climbing. Riders will also gain experience with bike maintenance, leadership, and trail stewardship. This group will look to practice line and tactics in race settings and will challenge riders to become better, stronger, faster mountain bikers. At beginning of the spring session rider can confidently ride Mitchell Ridge (not root drops) and can ride up to Upper GP from Family Man. CSAT will offer after school van pickup at Westside and May Street school or Parent Drop off at 2:45PM In Post Canyon. Coach will coordinate different drop off areas depending on where group rides. Parent Pickup Post Canyon Road - Where pavement turns to dirt Pickup 4:45pm, If riding outside of Post coach will coordinate where pickup is.
