About This Activity
Description
A hands-on course that uses an easy-to-learn online coding program. Students will design and create their own video games that can be played on a computer, tablet, or phone. Step by step, we’ll build a side-scrolling game similar to Super Mario Brothers. Along the way, students will get to use their creativity to design characters, enemies, and collectables. By the end of the course, students will have the skills they need to start building almost any kind of video game they can dream up! All supplies will be provided by the instructor.
CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made before the registration deadline listed are subject to $5.00 administrative charge. Refunds or credits will not be issued after the registration deadline. Please note that online convenience fees are non-refundable. Refunds can be placed as a credit on your account or refunded by your original form of payment.
