Prepare to care for children and infants with confidence and skill through our in-person Babysitters Training Course. Designed for youth ages 11–16, this course offers hands-on instruction from best-in-class Red Cross instructors. You will gain the latest insights on childcare, learn essential safety techniques, and develop real-life readiness through engaging activities, videos, and discussions. Please have your child bring a sack lunch and water bottle.CANCELLATION/REFUND POLICY: A full refund will be issued when a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. Cancellations made before the registration deadline date listed are subject to a $5.00 administrative charge deducted from your refund. Refunds or credits will not be issued if you cancel out of an activity after the registration deadline. Participants who miss classes due to illness, vacation, etc. will not be provided the opportunity to make them up. Refunds can be put back on your credit card, placed as a credit on your account, or by check that will be mailed out. Please note it takes approximately 2-3 weeks to receive a check refund.
