About This Activity

Description

Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details.

Give your child the ultimate hands-on adventure! Unlike standard building clubs that focus on plastic bricks, our students engineer real machines. Using specialized kits (LEGO-style for beginners and Metal Engineering Kits with real nuts and bolts for advanced students), campers build functional robots using motors, sensors, and microcontrollers.
We go beyond basic coding by integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI). Students will design video games and train computers to recognize Hand Gestures, allowing them to control their games and robots without a keyboard!
  • Real Tools: Students use screwdrivers and engineering tools, not just snaps.
  • Cutting-Edge Tech: AI Machine Learning and Computer Vision.
  • Take-Home Project: Select camps include a "Vibrobot" art-bot that students build and keep!

Activity Session Details: Robotics Explorer & AI Game Design
  • AM Session (5-8 yrs): Robotics Explorer & Vibrobots. Build smart bots with sensors and create a take-home art-bot!
  • PM Session (7-12 yrs): AI Game Design. Create video games and control them using AI Hand Gestures.
  • Full Day (5-12 yrs): Students participate in both sessions with a supervised lunch break.
Supplies: All technology (laptops, robot kits) and materials provided. Students bring a nut-free snack/lunch and water bottle.
