About This Activity
Majorette combines high-energy dance with precision, performance, and athleticism. Dancers will learn the fundamentals of majorette, including marching techniques, arm placement, formations, musicality, performance skills, and high-energy choreography inspired by HBCU-style dance. Students will also develop flexibility, strength, coordination, confidence, and stage presence while building teamwork and performance quality in a fun and supportive environment. Prerequisite: No previous majorette experience is required unless otherwise specified by instructor placement. Prior dance experience is helpful but not required. This Dance Program runs August–December and concludes with our Christmas Showcase. The price shown includes tuition and costumes. A per-student Showcase Participation Fee will be added at checkout. Showcase tickets and required class attire (leotards, tights, shoes, etc.) are not included and must be purchased separately. Affordable monthly and weekly payment plans are available at checkout. A 10% deposit of the total program cost is required at enrollment, then select your preferred payment schedule.
