About This Activity
TRClass powered by TinkerCAD Instructor-led, Technology Education Program for Students in Grades 3-8 Introductory course to 3D printing and Computer Aided Design (CAD) using TinkerCAD software. This course introduces students to the key fundamentals of 3D modeling using TinkerCAD and design thinking concepts. Students will learn the following: - How to get started with 3D Printing - How to do exploratory printing and modeling - Basics of designing solid shapes using TinkerCAD - Creating, designing, and printing basic prototypes - How to navigate the model workspace - How to place objects, mirroring, and combine shapes - A complete overview of the TinkerCAD tools - Final student project to keep
