About This Activity
TRClass powered by Onshape Instructor-led, Technology Education Program for Students in Grades 6-12 Intermediate course in computer-aided design (CAD) using Onshape. Students will get started with Onshape by viewing exciting models and learning the Onshape user interface. This course provides guided lessons to help students gain confidence with navigating models, changing views, and moving between part studios and assemblies. Learning Goals: - Help students get comfortable with navigating the Onshape interface and Onshape models - Understand the benefits of building 3D printed models used in CAD manufacturing and engineering - Expose students to the basic features used to make models in CAD Students will learn the following: - Intermediate use of 3D Printing - Intermediate prototyping and shapes - Designing with Onshape CAD software - Printing with complex geometries - Sculpting complex shapes - Final STUDENT project to keep
