About This Activity
In this hands-on robotics camp, campers will learn and explore Mars learning about the engineering and design of NASA's Mars 2020 Rover Perseverance and the mission to explore Mars. Campers will explore 3D-printed design and engineering used to build rovers and work as a JPL engineering team to construct a 1/4 scale replica of the Mars 2020 Rover. Join us for an interactive learning adventure exploring the Mars Mission using Augmented Reality as we build the LEGO Mars Perseverance rover using LEGO Technic models (available for purchase for additional fee). In each lesson, campers will take on the role of NASA engineers, scientists, and technicians. Through open ended lessons students will get hands-on learning opportunities as they explore engineering problems the Mars 2020 team face as they explore the surface of Mars.
